It is with sadness that I announce the unexpected death of Jamin Paul Szczesny on October 22, 2020. Jamin was born on April 2nd 1980 to Paul and Denise (Gale) Szczesny. After High School Jamin joined the United States Navy in 1999 where he spent 12 years of his life. While in the service he was an electronic technician, ending his career with the rank of ET4 He spent many years on the aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman during operation Iraqi freedom. While on the Truman a major piece of weather equipment malfunctioned and Jamin spent 16 straight hours working on it until he got it going again and then was given a special award for his actions. He also spent 1 year in Kandahar Afghanistan hardwiring and hooking up computers and communication equipment in newly constructed buildings. He traveled the world during those 12 years skiing the Austrian Alps, also spending time in England, Turkey, Spain, France and many other places. Jamin is survived and will be sorely missed by his parents, Denise and Paul. His daughter Katelynn Elizabeth Szczesny. His brothers, Robin David and Kevin Jon, and many Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Erin Elizabeth, his grandparents, Harold and Peggy Gale and Ben and Mickilina Szczesny and his Uncle Bob Gale. Because of COVID their will be no service at this time. We are planning something for late spring or early summer 2021for his celebration of life.
