James Vankampen

Mr. James Bruce VanKampen, age 78, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016. He was born in Holland, Michigan on September 18, 1937 to John & Blanche (Fogerty) VanKampen and married the former Bonnie Yenor on September 7, 1972. Mr. VanKampen served his country in the US Air Force during the ( ) was employed as a supervisor for Kaydon Corporation and later retired as a truck driver for Boers Mayflower in Holland. James was a lifetime member of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting and traveling. SURVIVORS Wife, Bonnie VanKampen; children, Maxine (Phil) Bennett, Scott (Wendy) Randall, Wendy (Bob) House, Todd (Ruth) Randall; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Julie) VanKampen, Tom (Leslie) VanKampen; sister, Joanne VanKampen. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Geri Johnson & Linda Hartt; brother, Dale VanKampen. SERVICE Per families request, private services have been held.
