James C. "Jim" Underhill

Mr. James C. "Jim" Underhill, age 61, of Muskegon, passed away at home Sunday, April 6, 2008. Jim was preceded in death by his father William C. Underhill and his brother Michael Underhill. Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Lou Underhill, and children James A. (Rachel) Underhill and Lisa (Kevin) Schmuker; grandchildren Tirzah, Noah, Jonah, Parker and Anna; his mother Dorothy Jarvis; brother Joseph (Martha) Underhill; sisters Diane (Larry) Timmerman, and Deb (Don) Stone; and several beloved nieces and nephews. He retired from Muskegon Public Schools after over 31 years of service and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Jim was a longtime member of The Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, 2270 S. Mill Iron Rd., where a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Tom Parks officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel.
