James L. Tromp

James L. Tromp, age 67, passed away on April 26, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Catherine (Pitts) Tromp; a sister, Katherine Fotis; and a brother, Patrick A. Tromp. Surviving are his children, Bobbette (Richard) Hibbs and Dale Harris; nieces, Kimberly Bigelow, Tangi Morehouse, and Kelly Remick; nephews, Jeff Ohrling, Don Bigelow, and Aaron Fotis; grandchildren, Kody Getz, Amanda McLouth, and Brad Hibbs; and his sister, Nancy (Marv) Ohrling. He served in the United States Navy, retired from Tom Miller Pontiac, and was a member of the 'Sand Bar Club.' He enjoyed many hours working in his garage. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment for James will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI on Wednesday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice.
