James Suits

Mr. James Leon Suits, age 82, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016. He was born in Hartford, Indiana on October 12, 1933 to James & Loretta (Hawkins) Suits and married the former Nancy Lee Ames on September 25, 1951. Mr. Suits had been employed for Consumers Power for 42 years until retiring. James was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a big jokester who enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and trips to Canada. The family would like to express their gratitude to Bridgett Sigler and Jamie Garza (granddaughter) for their wonderful care. SURVIVORS Daughters, Jerri (Ben) Garza of Fruitport, Susan (Mike) Neitring of Grand Haven, Tammy (Mark) Johnson of Whitehall & Nancy Suits (special friend Teresa Frost) of Muskegon; grandchildren, Mandy, Jeremy, Jason, Jamie, Jenny Justin 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; very special friends, Ron Vanderboegh, Scott Andreason, Roger Bagnieschi, Jim Shereda, Leon Wisneski & Jo Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy in 2004; son, James D. Suits; brothers, Phil & Ron Suits.
