James Stewart

Mr. James Elsworth "Jim" Stewart, age 64, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010. He was born in Ludington, MI on February 18, 1945 to Ellsworth & Margaret "Tootie" (McGrane) Stewart and married the former Linda Corradin on December 26, 1992. Mr. Stewart had been an independent sales representative for Lawson Products Inc. for 33 years. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Vikings, Muskegon Conservation Club, Muskegon Bowman's Club and Knights of Columbus. Jim always displayed his unparalleled love for his family and friends. His kind spirit and great sense of humor was manifested in selflessness and an abundant generosity. Jim was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Jim was a National Junior Archery Champion; he holds a record to this day. SURVIVORS Wife, Linda; son, Jason (Dawn) Stewart; daughters, Kristen Stewart, Lisa (Karl) Stewart; step children, Chip (Colleen) VanderWier, Beth (Scott) Shaffer, Katie (Dave) Baker; grandchildren, Joshua, Sophia, Samuel, Charlotte, Lauren, Lyric James, Henry, Dominic; parents, Elsworth (Udith) Stewart; brothers, Jon (Chris) Stewart, Joseph (Chris) Stewart, Jeff (Kristy) Stewart; sisters, Jean Lindback, Jane Ann Hyatt. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret. SERVICE Saturday, January 9, 2010, 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Pelak officiating. VISITATION Friday, 5-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon and Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. MEMORIAL: Mercy Health Partners - Johnson Cancer Center or Muskegon Conservation Club.
