James Mark Spliedt

Mr. James Mark Spliedt, age 77, died Saturday, January 19, 2008. He was born in Muskegon, MI on April 10, 1930 to Edward & Bessie (Crowley) Spliedt. Mr. Spliedt was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Wayne State Mortuary College and received a Masters degree in Education from Central Michigan University. He had been employed as a school teacher at Bay City Public Schools for many years until retiring in 1987. He had been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and had served his country in the Naval Reserves. SURVIVORS 1 son, James II (Vicky) Spliedt of Soda Springs, ID; 3 daughters, Mary Dietz of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Sharon (John) Anderson of Canton, MI & Colleen (Mike) Terwilliger of Ada, Michigan; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild & 1 brother, Chuck (Lucille) Spliedt of Wyoming, MI. SERVICE Monday, February 4, 2008, 10:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Fr. Thomas Brown officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 2-5 PM & Monday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home.
