He was a member of the Salvation Army, Holland Moose Lodge, Holland Eagles & Holland V.F.W.. SURVIVORS 5 sons, Rick Loss of Muskegon, Dan Loss of Grand Rapids, Ben Loss of Utah, Larry Loss of Holland & Travis Veronica Loss of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Melissa Loss of Traverse City; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Loss, Bradley Schaub, Samantha Reum & Shawn Reum; 2 sisters, Irene Keith Johnson of Fremont & Cordelia Loss of Fremont; 1 brother, Howard Ernest Agnes Loss of Newaygo; 1 step-son, Scott Sue Reum of Grand Rapids & several nieces & nephews.
