James Larson

Mr. James H. Larson, age 67, passed away Monday, August 8, 2011. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 28, 1943 to Harold & Margaret (Smith) Larson and married the former Alexandra "Lexy" Jaunese on November 7, 1964. Mr. Larson had been an employee at Sealed Power for 42 years until retiring. He was a communicant of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, longtime member of Mona Lake Boat Club, a proud member of the UAW and avid hunter and fisherman. James was a devoted father and grandfather who was always there for his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 47 years, Lexy; daughters, Laura Larson & Aprill Larson both of Muskegon; grandchildren, Emily & Jacob Essex; mother, Margaret of Muskegon; brothers, Thomas (Connie), William (Cindy), Robert & John, all of Muskegon; sisters, Marie of Muskegon, Julia (Jim) DeYoung of Rockford. He was preceded in death by his father. MEMORIAL SERVICE Tuesday, August 16, 2011, 11:00 AM at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with Rev. Philip Salmonowicz officiating. VISITATION Monday, 6-9 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Salvation Army.
