KELLY, MR. JAMES L. Fruitport Mr. James L. Kelly, age 69, went to be with his Lord, Monday, May 23, 2005. He was born in Battle Creek, MI on May 26, 1935 to Russell & Leora VandenBerg Kelly & married the former Mary Zellar on July 30, 1954. Mr. Kelly was the owner of Jim Kelly Construction for 35 years until retiring in 1996. He was a charter member of First Congregational Church of Fruitport & a member of Shoreline Home Builders Association. Jim enjoyed golf, bowling, camping and sports, but foremost was his family. SURVIVORS Wife, Mary; 2 sons, James Julie Kelly of Grand Haven & Steven Amy Kelly of Fruitport; 2 daughters, Debra James Jantz of Norton Shores & Tracy Adam Schofield of North Muskegon; 12 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Russell "Brownie" Bev Kelly of Lansing, R. William Norann Kelly of Grand Haven; Charles Sue Kelly of New Buffalo, MI; 2 sisters-in-law, Ethel Kelly of Spring Lake & Helema Kelly of Bellaire, MI; several nieces & nephews; He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Maurice "Dale" & Donald. SERVICE Friday, May 27, 2005, 11:00 AM at First Congregational Church of Fruitport with Rev. Ron Depung & Rev. David Hulings officiating. Entombment at Fruitport Cemetery.
