James Robert "Jim" Joslin, age 68, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away at home on August 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with serious illness.

Born in Muskegon on October 12, 1957 to Carol Bunting, Jim was a graduate of a local high school and worked in the brass industry in his early years. Following a life-altering car accident, Jim faced his resulting disabilities with resilience for over 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who found peace and enjoyment in fishing from the shore, especially at West Lake, and going on camping trips. In recent years, he lived with his dear friend of 20 years, Joy Hudson.

He is survived by his daughter, Gemanicka Piper; his son, Randy Smith Jr; his mother, Carol Chesebro; his siblings, Connie Taylor, Sheila Cooper, Gene Joslin, and Bonnie Dill and his longtime friend and caregiver, Joy Hudson.

In accordance with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Clock Funeral Home. No formal services will be held. Please share memories and condolences on Jim's memorial page at www.clockfuneralhome.com.
