James Hallberg

Mr. James A. Hallberg, age 89, died Saturday, October 31, 2009. He was born in Detroit, MI on January 11, 1920 to Carl & Blanche (Satterlee) Hallberg and served his country in the US Army. He married the former Phyllis Martin on February 21, 1942. Mr. Hallberg had been employed as a Salesman for 35 years. He was a member of First Congregational Church UCC since 1949, the Muskegon Vikings-Linne Lodge, the Elks Golf Course and the Lincoln Golf Course. SURVIVORS Wife of 67 years, Phyllis; daughter, Pamela (Tom) Mills; son, James (Diane) Hallberg; grandchildren, Jonathon, Alyson, Steven, Sara, Mary; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, John M. Hallberg and his siblings. SERVICE Thursday, November 5, 2009, 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at First Congregational Church UCC with Rev. Tim VanderHaar officiating.
