FRENCH, MR. JAMES RICHARD Holton Mr. James Richard French, age 59, died Wednesday, August 22, 2001. He was born in Grand Haven, MI on January 26, 1942 to Donald & Angeline Frances Rose French. Mr. French was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam & also served in the National Guard. He had been employed as a mechanic for the Ottawa County Road Commission for 29 years & was a member of the American Legion #0069 in Whitehall & was a former member of the Grand Haven Eagles. SURVIVORS Mother, Angeline Frances Cooley of Fruitport; 2 sons, James R. Heather French II of Spring Lake, currently serving in the U.S. Navy in Everett, WA & Chad J. French of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Tina French of Hibbing, MN; 2 brothers, David French of Spring Lake & Norman French of Morley & 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald. SERVICE Saturday, August 25, 2001, 11:00 AM at Spring Lake Presbyterian Church with Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating. Interment at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens.
