James Weston Felt Sr.

Mr. James Weston Felt Sr., age 83, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 9, 1933 to Ralph and Mary (Rahrig) Felt and served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He married the former Marva Goodrich on October 17, 1952. Mr. Felt had been the owner/operator for Felt Fabricating INC for over 30 years until retiring. James was affiliated with Faith Baptist Church and enjoyed fly tying and fishing, history, painting and flying model airplanes. SURVIVORS Sons, James Felt Jr., Gregory (Janie) Felt, Richard (Cindy) Felt; daughters, Sue (Richard) McKenney , Patti Pulsifer, Kelly (Mike) Matti; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert (GloAnn) Felt, Ben (Maydean) Felt; in-laws, Lila VerHulst, Georgia (Jerry) Hayes, Darlene Withers, Gene (Delores) Goodrich; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Marva in 2007; his parents; brother-in-law, Stan Withers and two great grandchildren. SERVICE Saturday, December 10, 2016, 11:00 am at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor James Swierenga officiating and Military Honors under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. Interment in Fruitland Township Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Muskegon Rescue Mission.
