James L. Crawford

CRAWFORD, MR. JAMES L. Muskegon Mr. James Leonard Crawford, age 86, died Sunday, March 28, 2004. He was born in Muskegon on September 24, 1917 to Leonard & Grace Peterrman Crawford and married Elda Rossetto on December 29, 1946. Mr. Crawford served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer at SPX Corp. for over 40 years, retiring in the early 1980's. Mr. Crawford was active in Junior Achievement for many years, volunteered for the Muskegon Civic Theatre & was a Life Member of the Muskegon Yacht Club. SURVIVORS Wife, Elda; 2 daughters, Vicki Crawford of Bozeman, MT & Susan Crawford of Ann Arbor, MI; 3 nieces, Carolyn Marvin Reinertson, Jean Crawford & Jeaniene Terry Cullum; 1 nephew, Tom Sally Crawford. He was preceded in death by a son James Crawford in November of 1983; 1 brother, Charles Crawford; 2 sisters, Bernice Lambert & Eleanor Borgeson. SERVICE Wednesday, March 31, 2004, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with the Rev. James Bos officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Muskegon Civic Theatre. CLOCK - Muskegon
