COOK, MR. JAMES M. Muskegon Mr. James M. Cook, age 87, gently passed away at home with his loving family at his side on Thursday, May 13, 2004. He was born in Plainfield, IA on December 26, 1916 to Charles & Abigail Cook and married the former Bernice E. Klement on February 15, 1942. In 1982, he retired from Dresser Industries after 19 years of service. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Dad was a generous, loving, down-to-earth man, who loved music, the outdoors, and old cars. He was a true craftsman, always creating something out of nothing, a trait his children luckily inherited. Most of all, he treasured his family and will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife of 62 years, Bernice; 4 sons, Jim Pat Cook, Bill Mary Jane Cook, Tom Marsha Cook, David Patti Cook, all of Muskegon; 2 daughters, Betty David Bickford, Mary Joseph Christophersen, both of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; special nephews, Chuck Sharon Anson, Leon Gene Huggard of Plainfield, IA; sister-in-law, Maxine Cook; special family members and families of Mary Jane & John Blazek, Robert & Lillian MacEachern, both of Irons. He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 brothers & sisters. SERVICE Monday, May 17, 2004, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jim Wyse officiating. VISITATION Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home, with a scripture service at 8:00 PM. MEMORIAL: Parkinson's Foundation or Charity of Choice. Clock - Muskegon
