CALHOUN, MR. JAMES TAYLOR Norton Shores, MI Mr. James Taylor Calhoun, devoted husband & father, age 74, died Tuesday, October 1, 2002. He was born in Dyersburg, TN on June 26, 1928 to Loyd & Azalee Ryan Calhoun & married the former Gwen Dixon on October 9, 1954. Mr. Calhoun had been employed as a Chemical Processor at Lakeway Chemical for 23 years until retiring in 1989. He was a member of Central Community Church & enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling & gardening. SURVIVORS Wife, Gwen; 2 sons, Thomas special friend, Kris Malotke Calhoun of Norton Shores, MI & David Susan Calhoun of Charlotte, N.C.; 1 daughter, Cindy Lou Carl Herron of Jacksonville, FL; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Loyd Everett Betty Calhoun of Troy, TN & Charles Thomas Jane Calhoun of Union City, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents & by his in-laws, William George & Lillian Dixon. SERVICE Friday, October 4, 2002, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Tim VanderHaar officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Thursday, 6-9 PM & Friday, one hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: American Heart Association.
