James Harold Boyer, age 81, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was born in Cadillac, MI on February 15, 1937 to Charles & Claris (Good) Boyer and married the former Shirley VanPelt on April 9, 1971. Mr. Boyer had been employed as a sheet metal worker for Bastian Blessing for 23 years until retiring in. James enjoyed bowling, camping, hunting woodworking, farming and fishing. SURVIVORS Wife of 47 years, Shirley; children, James Boyer of Kent City, Jerry Boyer of Kent City, Randall Boyer of Tampa, Lon (Lauralee) Hieftje, Ruthann (Steve) Pamer, Bonnie Diedrich, Karen (Jeff) Przysucha; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Carol) Boyer and many nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tonya Boyer; son, Edward Boyer; siblings, Annie & Bob. SERVICE Sunday, November 4, 2018, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: American Diabetes Association.
