Jamerson, Virginia May

Mrs. Virginia May Jamerson, age 86, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2006, at Mercy General Health Partners. She was born May 11, 1920 in Massillon, Ohio to the late John and Katherine (Holland) Norris. Virginia married Mr. Arthur Jamerson on April 9, 1938. Arthur preceded her in death as did her brother, Clifford Norris. Surviving are her children: Charles (Joyce) Jamerson of Muskegon and Barbara (Darrell) Shafer of Muskegon; four grandchildren: Charles Jamerson, Jr., Deana (Chuck) Sugarbaker, Steve (Lisa) Shafer, and Debra (Matt) Westerhouse; twelve great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Edonna Norris of Muskegon; and long-time friend, Ethelyn Walters of Muskegon. Virginia was a member of the Eastern Star "Jenesis 88" and a member of Black Creek Bible Church. FUNERAL SERVICES will be Monday, October 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., with Pastor Larry Bush. VISITATION will be from 5 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 1st at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Black Creek Bible Church.
