Jake Grennan Stewart was born on June 9, 1989 in Sidney, Ohio, weighing a whopping 12 lbs.! He was the fifth son of Alicia and Mark Stewart. Jake was taken from us far too soon of April 22, 2020. To all who knew Jake, and loved him, his death has left profound loss, pain and sadness, that can never be healed. Jake faced many struggles, hardship and pain during his life. He confronted life's challenges with incredible bravery, strength, and courage. He was so full of hope and promise, and his sudden loss is an unimaginable, unspeakable tragedy. Jake was an incredibly beautiful soul. His energy was peace and love. You felt that when he walked in the room and lit up the space with his big beautiful smile. He had a huge heart, a quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor. He loved learning and had a beautiful, bright, creative mind. Jake was extremely generous. He would do anything for anyone. HIS HUGS WERE REAL! If Jake was there everyone had more fun. Jake made every situation better. No matter where we were or what we were doing, it was more fun with Jake there. HE LOVED MUSIC! He was an excellent drummer and prolific song writer. He had plans to form a Stewart Brothers band. He loved longboarding and snowboarding. He loved nature and was happiest in the woods. April 19th Jake wrote, "My spirit feels so connected to endless love. I'm me again." Jake is survived by his parents: Alicia (Frank Kryzkwa) and Mark (Muriel Toppen); Brothers: Brandon, Nicholas Jared, Zachary and Sam; Grandparents: Ray and Geri Grennan and Joan Stewart (Ed Stewart, deceased); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly; and his beloved kitty, Boofy. Jake's body will be cremated and placed in beloved places that were dear and special to him, according to his wishes. As a gathering to celebrate his life is not possible at this time, it will be held at a later date and will be announced at that time.
