Mrs. Jeannette Annamarie Jager, age 92, died January 18, 2007. She was born November 7, 1914 to John and Amanda (Gluesing) Baasch. She was born in Whitehall and lived in the White Lake area all her life. She married Henry "Tony" Jager in 1935. Mr. Jager died in 1986. Jeannette and Tony had two children, Henry John Jager who died in 2003 and Jean Lydene Jager (Charlie) Mikkelsen who survives her. Jeannette worked at Howmet Precision Castings for 25 years, retiring from there in 1980. She had been a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and an avid shuffleboard player and enjoyed many kinds of needlework. Jeannette was a loving, caring mother and grandparent and will be sadly missed by all of her family. FAMILY: Besides her daughter, Jean, she is survived by five grandchildren: Dawn (Larry) Leiter of Mancelona, MI, John R. (Jeannie) Jager of Whitehall, Anita (Harry) Hain of Whitehall, Chuck (Laurie) Flagstead of Montague, and Kirk (Samantha) Jager of Jonesborough, TN; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister survives, Doris (Vernon) Wiltse of Gig Harbor, WA. MEMORIAL VISITATION: TODAY, Saturday, January 20, 2007, from 3 to 5 P.M. at Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall. DONATIONS: Bloomdahl Howmet Playhouse Fund, P.O. Box 42, Whitehall, MI 49461.
