Jacquelyn "Jacquie" Bruinsma Cullimore, passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 90 at Guardian Angel Homes in Post Falls, ID where she had lived the past seven years.

Jacquie was the daughter of the late US and Carolena (Miller) Crane. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, George Bruinsma, who died in 1991 and her second husband, Kreaton Cullimore, who died in 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Michael) Jaramillo, her son, Robert (Elizabeth) Bruinsma; her four grandchildren, Gregory Jaramillo, Alexa Jaramillo, Jeshua (Emily) Bruinsma and Noelani (Sebastian) Gonzalez; two great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.

Jacquie was a dedicated music educator and church organist who touched the lives of many through her passion for music and education. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Western Michigan University, dedicating her career to nurturing young talent as an elementary music teacher in the Mona Shores School District. She served as an organist and children's choir director at Lakeside United Methodist Church, sharing her love of music with countless students and congregants. She also taught piano lessons, imparting her knowledge and passion to many students.

In her later years, during the winters spent in Wauchula and Zephyrhills, Florida, she continued her musical journey as a pianist and choir director, enriching the community with her talent. Eventually, she moved to Southern California, and later to Post Falls, where she continued to find joy in the vibrant activities and musical performances at the retirement homes she called home. Jacquie's legacy will continue to resonate through the lives she touched and the music she cherished.

A celebration of Jacquie's life will be held on Saturday, September 5 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home, 1469 Peck Street, Muskegon MI 49441.
