Jacob "Ray" Meyers

Meyers, Mr. Jacob R. "Ray" Muskegon Mr. Jacob R. "Ray" Meyers, age 83, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 8, 1934 to Edward & Violet (Blackmer) Meyers and served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War on the USS Wisconsin BB64. Mr. Meyers had been employed at CWC Textron and Brunswick, started Muskegon Window Cleansers and then became an auto body tech for Bowman's Body Shop & Robinson Body Shop. Jacob was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and current member of Jehovah's Witness and former member of the Fruitport Eagles. SURVIVORS Sons, Raymond (Debbie) Meyers of Muskegon, Ralph (Bev) Meyers of Muskegon, Jacob (Romi) Meyers of Harper TX, Shawn (Thea) Meyers of Kerriville TX, Steven Meyers of Austin TX; daughter, Adonica (Doug) Crenwelge of Fredericksburg TX; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Clifford Meyers; sister, Peggy Cline; sister-in-law, Kay Meyers; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Cristy Meyers & Debbie Meyers; brothers, Edward, Robert & Richard Meyers; sister, Ruth Trowbridge. SERVICE A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
