Jack Allen Stephenson

Mr. Jack Allen Stephenson, age 74, of Norton Shores, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 14, 2008. He was born December 12, 1933 in Newaygo to the late Roy and Edna (Barbour) Stephenson. Besides his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Nancy, in 2002; his granddaughter, Jacqueline Jagnecki, in 1989; and his grandson, Thomas Jagnecki, Jr., this past June 2008; his brother, Wesley Stephenson; and his sister, Sylvia Faught. Jack is survived by three daughters: Janette (Thomas. Sr.) Jagnecki, Sandra (Leo) Jagnecki, both of Twin Lake, and Linda (Allan) Baird of Tennessee; two sons: Jeffrey Stephenson of Walker and Michael (Tracy) Stephenson of White Cloud; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Russell (Maryann) Stephenson, Bob (Marlene) Stephenson, Marilyn Colson, and Lois DeVries. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to his service (from 1:00 to 2:00) on Thursday. Jack was a great Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. His goofy sense of humor will be greatly missed.
