Jack E. Green

Mr. Jack E. Green, age 83, died Saturday, July 26, 2008. He was born in Lowell, MI on September 1, 1924 to Earl & Pearl (Zahm) Green. Jack served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He married the former Margaret 'Micky' Cato on July 4, 1947. Mr. Green had been employed as a Welder at Dresser Industries for 45 years. He was an avid fisherman & snowmobiler who enjoyed hunting, tinkering in his garage, the outdoors, camping in the U.P., & motorcycling. But foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Wife, Margaret; son, Joe (Thelma) Green of OH; daughters, Susan Straub, Jackie Martin, both of White Cloud; grandchildren, Rene, Elizabeth, Sarah, Danielle, Jolee, Annie; great grandchildren, Emily, Zack, Alyssa; sisters, Zoa (Richard) Speerstra of Lowell, Fay (Harold) Dollaway of Mancelona MI; several nieces & nephews; and his dog, Red.
