Jack Laroy Garlock

Garlock, Mr. Jack Laroy Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Jack Laroy Garlock, age 88, peacefully passed away at home early Wednesday evening, January 27, 2021. He was born in Ludington, MI on March 4, 1932 to Max & Genevieve (Moore) Garlock. He married the former Barbara Routt on December 22, 1956. Mr. Garlock had been employed as a machine operator for Teledyne Continental until retiring. Jack loved spending time at his cabin in Fountain, MI. He also enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and tinkering in his garage. The family would like to give a special thank you to LifeCircles PACE in Norton Shores for the tremendous love, care and support given in his final days. SURVIVORS Children, Jack (Ann) Garlock Jr., Linda (Leon) Brink, Loretta Clevenger, Barbie Kolenic; several grandchildren, & great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Homan; sister, Norma Clark; sisters-in-law, Patti Routt, Sandy Routt, Karen (John) Hellman & Audrey Garlock; many nieces & nephews; very close friend Curt Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wife, Barbara, sons, Ricky Garlock & Art Homan; son-in-law, Ike Clevenger; siblings, Ed Garlock, Maxine McGuire & Opal Voorhies; brothers-in-law, Ron Routt & Don Routt. SERVICE Due to Covid-19 private family services will be held at this time. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Internment in Norton Cemetery.
