Jack Ford

Mr. Jack H. Ford, age 89, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 31, 1927 to Harold & Agnes (Chalkquist) Ford and served his country during WWII in the Army Air Force in Squadron D 200th. He married Ellen Ann Holmes on November 30, 1957. The two loved to travel by both boat and motor home often finding themselves in precarious situations. Mr. Ford had been an engineer at Teledyne Continental Motors for 30 years and then an owner of Pro Phone Communications until retiring. Together, Jack and Ellen were adventurers in business and in life. Jack was a member of the Muskegon Yacht Club and a former member of Harbor Town Yacht Club. He loved to travel, snow ski, scuba, fish and deer hunt. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughter Jacquelin (David) Ford-Dressel, his loyal companion Teddy and 2 cats. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen in 2013 and sister, Joy in 2014. SERVICES Per Jack's request, private services will be held. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
