Jack Broadbent

Mr. Jack W. Broadbent, age 84, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 13, 1930 to Ernest & Elsie (Thom) Broadbent and served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married the former Alvera Seline on August 5, 1950. Mr. Broadbent had been employed as a machinist for Teledyne Continental Motors for 36 years until retiring. Jack was an avid fisherman & hunter who enjoyed boating & motorcycles. But foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 65 years, Vera; daughters, Beverly McLaughlin of Roosevelt Park, Karen (Tim) Selim of Manton MI; grandchildren, Michael, David, Emily, Jackson; 4 great grandchildren and his dog, Sandy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine and brothers, LaVern & Herbert. SERVICE Per his wishes, no services will be held. MEMORIAL: Muskegon Humane Society.
