Jack A. Barding

Mr. Jack Alva Barding, age 90, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. He was born in Muskegon, MI on December 29, 1927 to James & Agnes (Dunckel) Barding and married the former Dene Savoy on February 14, 1974. Mr. Barding had been employed as a Battalion Fire Chief for Muskegon Fire Dept. for 32 years until retiring in 1985. Jack loved reading, especially Westerns. He was a former Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed hunting and playing cards. SURVIVORS Wife, Dene; special nieces, Lila (Mike) Overbeek of Holland, Sue (Harold) Sibrel of North Muskegon and CA; many other nieces and nephews. SERVICE Tuesday, June 12, 2018, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the services at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Carlos Ramos officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice Foundation.
