J. Darlene Elliott

Mrs. J. Darlene Elliott, age 79, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017. She was born in Hammond, Indiana on July 16, 1938 to Asa & Elizabeth (Veach) Wallace and married Daniel Elliott on July 14, 1956. Mrs. Elliott had been employed as a Nurses Aide for Hillcrest Nursing Home, Brookhaven and the Muskegon Regional Center retiring in 1979. Darlene was blessed with four loving children, whom she cherished deeply. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and yard sales. Darlene was an honest, humorous, loving and sensitive person who always said what was on her mind. Darlene loved her Lord Jesus Christ. She had a giving and generous heart and will be deeply missed. SURVIVORS 4 daughters, Denise Treesh of Muskegon, Linda (Michael) Parker of Muskegon, Patricia Darlene McChesney of North Carolina; Dana Carnes of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren, Danny (Erica) Baker, Jimmy Botko, Johnny Botko, Josh Parker, Patrick McChesney, Tommy Elliott, Samantha (Mike) Delgado; 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; 2 sisters, Wanda Lee, Beverly (Milt) Hill. Darlene was preceded in death by her former husband, Daniel Elliott; grandson; Travis Carnes, son-in-law, Frank Carnes; brother, Wayne; sisters, Norma, Louise & Jean. SERVICE Monday, December 18, 2017, 10:30 am at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. James Swieringa officiating. Interment in Fruitland Township Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: In Touch Ministries.
