Ivalene Marie Hillman, age 94, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was

born in Bay City, MI on January 23, 1930, to Maurice and Irene (Chalette) Brisbois.

She was raised in the Bay City area, and spent special times with her Grandmother

Mary Weaver, and Grandfather Edward Weaver. She raised her sons in Charlevoix and

North Muskegon. Her later years were spent in Muskegon, and in Assisted Living in

Holland, Michigan.

Ivalene worked and retired from North Muskegon Schools, serving as part-time aide

with playground, lunchroom and after school activities. She served as a volunteer guide

with Hackley/Hume houses in Muskegon for many years. Ivalene was an active

member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Parish, in North Muskegon, and served as a

Eucharistic Minister.

She loved to travel. In later years she traveled with Orchard View Bus Tours and was

very proud that she had visited all 50 states.

She is survived by her sons, Cris (Jo) Hilman, Eric (Marilyn) Hillman; grandchildren,

Katie, Caleb, Cody, Matthew, Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Natalia, Ethan,

Clara, Dean, Dawson; brother, Gary Jay. She was preceded in death by Lloyd Richard

(Dick) Hillman, and sister, Kathryn Lou (Kitty).

and Wings of Hope Hospice for care provided to Ivalene. Her memory will live on in the

hearts of those who loved her.
