Mr Isaiah Elijah, age 96, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024. He was born in Carson Township, AR on June 8, 1928 to Napoleon & Emma (Wright) Elijah and married the former Mattie May Anderson in 1949. Mr Elijah served his country in the US Army. Isaiah had been employed as a CWC Foundry as a machine operator for 33 years until retiring. He was a former member of Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church and loved to sing in Gospel Quartets in his younger years.

SURVIVORS

Children, Isaiah Elijah Jr, Melvin (Hydrone) Elijah, Michael Elijah, Dwight (Bernadette) Elijah, Jose Elijah, Ester (Carl) Wright, Cathy Elijah; special friend Alymnette Horton; Step Children, Rhonda (Marcel) Livers, Vera Horton, Lela (Roy) Herron; 28 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mattie May in 2006 and all of his siblings.

Monday, December 2, 2024, 1:00 PM at Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church, 2435 Riordan St, Muskegon Heights, MI 49444. VISITATION; One hour prior to the service at the church.
