JENNINGS, MR. ISAAC M. Fruitport Mr. Isaac M. Jennings, age 91, died Saturday, March 13, 2004. Born April 11, 1912 in Kedron, IL to Jim & Nellie Martin Jennings; he married Dorothy Beerthuis July 8, 1939 in Muskegon. Mr. Jennings was retired from the Dake Corporation, was a member of Fruitport Bethel Baptist Church & had served as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher & Superintendent, was one of the founding members of the Fruitport Volunteer Fire Department & was a former Scoutmaster. SURVIVORS wife, Dorothy; son, William Vonda Jennings of Fruitport; daughter, Ruth Shumar of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, LaVina Peterson of Edwardsville, IL; sister-in-law, Doris Jennings of Edwardsville, IL. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers & 2 sisters. SERVICE Wednesday, March 17, 2004, 11:00 AM, at Fruitport Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Worth officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Clock Funeral Home-Fruitport & Wednesday, at the Church, 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL: American Diabetes Association or American Lung Association. CLOCK - Fruitport
