Irma Koone

Mrs. Irma L. Koone, age 81, died Friday, March 20, 2009. She was born in Jamestown, NY on November 25, 1927 to Earl & Evelyn (Johnson) Briggs and married Howard Koone on April 3, 1953. Mrs. Koone had been a homemaker and a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She was a member of the VFW Post #446 Auxillary, DAV, and the Muskegon Eagles. SURVIVORS 3 sons, Howard Koone III of Grand Rapids, Leland ( Kelly) Koone, Todd Koone, both of Muskegon; 3 daughters, Linda (Robert) Perkins of Twin Lake, Cindy (Kelly) DeFrench of Muskegon, Teresa (John) Wabsis of Walkerville, MI; 25 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard in 1993. SERVICE Tuesday, March 24, 2009, 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel with Pastor Karen Biggerstaff officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Sunday, 6-8 PM and Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
