Iris Matney

Mrs. Iris J. Matney, age 82, died Friday, July 6, 2007. She was born in Muskegon, MI on December 3, 1924 to Theodore & Alice (White) Christiansen and married Andrew Matney in Muskegon in 1942. Mrs. Matney had been a member of Lakes Community of the Nazerene Church and also member of Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, and the outdoors, but foremost was her family. SURVIVORS Husband of 65 years, Andrew; son, Dale (Marge) Matney of Grand Rapids; 2 grandchildren, Laura and Jason; brother, Ted (Millie) Christiansen of Cadillac, MI; special friends, Bill (Sharon) Dunham of Fruitport and Sherri Christiansen of Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. SERVICE Tuesday, July 10, 2007, 11:00 AM, at Lakes Community of the Nazerene Church with Rev. Tom Parks officiating. MEMORIAL: Order of the Eastern Star.
