SCHULTZ, MRS. IRENE WAALKES Norton Shores Mrs. Irene W. Schultz, age, 85, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006. She was born in Muskegon, MI on May 3, 1921 to Bert & Henrietta (Stoppels) Waalkes. Irene was a 1939 graduate of Muskegon High School & a 1941 graduate of Baker College. She married Ronald R. Schultz on May 10, 1947. Mrs. Schultz had been an Office Manager for various medical practices including Hoeksema & Lachinet PC for many years until retiring in 1986. She was a charter member of Westwood Reformed Church. SURVIVORS Former husband, Ronald R. Schultz; 2 sons, Daniel (Rochelle Zack) Schultz of Muskegon, Kevin (Julie) Schultz of Scottville; 2 grandchildren, Brandon 2 step-grandchildren, Terry & Jennifer; 3 step-great grandchildren; 3 nephews, Sam Waalkes, Marty Waalkes & David Waalkes; sister-in-law, Sharon Stuart of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Mart Waalkes & John (Jack) Waalkes. SERVICE Sunday, June 25, 2006, 2:00 PM at Westwood Reformed Church, 3025 Glenside Blvd., Roosevelt Park, with Pastor David Willerup officiating. There will be no visitation.
