Irene Ophelia Phillips

Mrs. Irene Ophelia Phillips, age 76, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Mercy Health Partners Mercy Campus. She was a retired tutor for Muskegon Public School System. She is survived by her husband, Jesse Phillips, Jr.; 3 sons, Randall (Shelia) Phillips of Muskegon, Gregory Phillips of Holland and David (Cynthia) Phillips of Downers Grove, IL; 2 daughters, Lynnette Phillips of Grand Rapids, MI and Victoria Phillips of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Jason, Dustin, Nicole, Tonnie, Kaitlyn; 1 brother, Ronald Foster of Pasadena, CA; 1 sister, Helen Modisette of Muskegon. Service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Greater Harvest Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Hildresth officiating. Visitation begins Friday from 2:00pm until 7:00opm with 5:00pm till 7:00pm family hour. Interment: Sunrise Gardens.
