Irene Koolovitz

Mrs. Irene Koolovitz, age 88, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 17, 2007 in Muskegon. She was born May 8, 1919 to Isaac and Lucy (Guerne) Keur in Muskegon and was a life resident. She worked for the Oakridge Schools for many years as a bus driver before retiring. On June 5, 1943, Irene married Edward J. Koolovitz. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1973. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Edward D. Koolovitz of Muskegon and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Lucile Schwab; 4 brothers, John, Isaac "Bud", Sam, and Basil Keur. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at Mona View Cemetery, with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. There will be no visitation.
