Mrs. Irene Jackson, age 78, passed Monday at her residence. She was a retired cook from the Hillcrest Nursing Home. She is survived by 3 sons, George, Earl (Terri), and Louis Jackson; and 6 daughters, Jackie (Willie) Bauregard, Lois, Charlene, Earnestine (Greg) Collins, Ruby, and Sharon. Services will be held Monday, 12 noon, at Phillip Chapel, A.M.E. Pastor Emanuel Haynes. Visitation begins Sunday, 2-7 PM. Interment Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
