Indulis Liepins passed away on January 30, 2020. Indulis was born on August 4, 1932, in Latvia. He, with his parents, sister, and brother, arrived in this country in 1950 as Displaced Persons, after 5 years in refugee camps in Germany. Indulis graduated from the University of Michigan School of Architecture, later became a registered architect, and several years later became a partner in an architectural firm Wah Yee Associates. Surviving Indulis is his wife Myrna Lillian (Olsen), son Indulis Eriks and his children Erik and Katelyn, daughter Ingrid Anna, and daughter Rita Elizabeth (Tayenaka) with husband Don and their sons Torrey (Rachel) and Daniel. Survivors also include brother Druvvaldis in Ohio, and his family, and sister Inese in Florida, and her family, also cousins in Latvia and Sweden. He was preceded in his death by his parents - Karlis and Elizabete Liepins. Indulis enjoyed traveling, tennis, reading, and gardening. Per his wishes cremation has taken place.
