LEVANDOSKI, MS.
Ilona Marie
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ilona Marie Levandoski on May 3rd, 2025, at the age of 79, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Known lovingly as "Lona" by many, she was a strong, independent woman who lived life with quiet determination and deep love for her family and animals.
Lona is survived by her daughter, Cathy Renn-Bowers (Dan); her son, Scott Levandoski (Kathy); her beloved grandchildren, Tomas Robbins Renn (Kayla Kole), Audrey Bowers, Max Levandoski (Nicole), and Lilyana Levandoski. She is also survived by her sisters, Veronica Adame, Connie Johnson, and Mary Dunn; her brothers, Dan Dupont and Jim Dupont; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her brothers Steve Dupont and Mike Dupont, whom she held dear in her heart.
A lifelong lover of animals, Lona had a special place in her heart for her many pets over the years, each of whom she considered part of the family. She also found great joy in sailing, listening to Jimmy Buffett and the Mamma Mia soundrack, tending to her beautiful garden, and preparing home-cooked meals for those she loved-her kitchen often the heart of family gatherings. Her warmth, wit, and unfailing sense of care left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Lona took great pride in her three-decade career with Clyde Hendrick Property Management, where she worked with diligence and integrity. She considered it an honor and a privilege to work as a property manager where she touched so many lives. Her work was more than just a job-it was a source of purpose and community.
A private celebration of life will be held this summer for the immediate family. In honor of Lona's compassion and love for animals, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Noah's Project, a no-kill animal shelter that reflects the values she held dear.
Lona was a devoted mother, Nini/Gone, sister, and friend whose gentle strength and generous spirit will be missed beyond words. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
