Ida "Mae" Gallup GALLUP, MRS. IDA "MAE" Widow of Garrah Norton Shores Mrs. Ida Mae Gallup, age 95, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 18, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born June 17, 1910 to Harry and Iva (Bearss) Jones in Tustin, MI, and lived in the Muskegon area for over 70 years. She had worked at Brunswick for 20 years before retiring in 1968. Ida Mae married Garrah Gallup in Tustin in 1927, and he preceded her in death on July 11, 1989. SURVIVORS include 1 sister, Iva (Arvid) Norman of Tustin; several nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2006 at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565 with Rev. Jerry Postema officiating.
