Hulka, Cleona C.

Mrs. Cleona C. Hulka (Ritz), age 88 passed away on Friday, November 3, 2006 at McAuley Place. She was born on September 10, 1918 in Coopersville, Michigan to the late Albert and Fern (Anderson) Ritz. On October 29, 1934, she married John Hulka Sr. They were married for 53 years at the time of his death on November 11, 1989. Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons, John Hulka Jr., and Robert Hulka also of Fruitport. Also preceding her in death are four brothers, and a sister. Clee is survived by her children, Marty Hulka, and Marilyn Barney (Hulka); daughters-in-law Betty Hulka, Carol Hulka, and Chris Hulka; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great grand kids, along with her sisters, Virginia Cripe of Twin Lake, and Alberta McClellan of Nunica and her Bunco Friends and all of her others friends that she so dearly loved. According to her wishes cremation has taken place, and a memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation with the family will be held one hour before the service from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to McAuley Place Outdoor Beautification Fund, or the NOAH Project.
