Howard Woodring

Mr. Howard E. Woodring, age 72, died Friday, January 29, 2010. He was born in Ferndale, Michigan on September 3, 1937 to Howard & Dortha (Hurd) Woodring the former Sandra Revord on September 4, 1970. Mr. Woodring served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a machinist at Engine Power Components for 20 years until retiring. He enjoyed fishing, camping & hunting. SURVIVORS Wife, Sandra; 2 sons, Marty Woodring of Muskegon & Richard Woodring of Ravenna; 1 daughter, Michelle Woodring of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Dakota & Cheyanne; 1 brother, Ron Woodring of Muskegon & a sister, Lorraine (Richard) Califf of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dave & a sister, Sharon. SERVICE Tuesday, February 2, 2010, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Military Rites under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council. Interment at Egelston Township Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 7-9 PM & Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: American Cancer Society.
