Howard Holmstrom

Mr. Howard O. Holmstrom, age 83, died Friday, February 12, 2010. He was born in Ludington, MI on March 1, 1926 to Oscar & Hattie (Beck) Holmstrom and served his country in the US Navy. He married the former Lillian Garland on May 22, 1948. Mr. Holmstrom had been employed in maintenance at Anderson Bowling for 30 years until retiring. He was a member of Edgewood Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and bowling. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lillian; sons, Carl (Kelly) Holmstrom, Roger Holmstrom, Robert Holmstrom; daughter, Karen Huggett; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jeremy) O'Bradovich, Michelle, Kristopher, Angela, Michael, Adam, Krystal, Robbie, Tony, Julia; great grandchildren, Dominique, Makenna; sister, Dorothy Blodgett. He was preceded in death by his parents & twin sister, Helen. SERVICE: Wednesday, February 17, 2010, 1:00 PM at Edgewood Lutheran Church with Pastor Merz officiating.
