Howard Leonard Hoffman

Leonard Hoffman, 72 years old of Muskegon, MI passed away in Whitehall, MI on May 29, 2023. Leonard was born in Obion, Tennessee on September 19, 1950 to Margaret (Griffin) and Ralph Hoffman. He married Elizabeth Moschke and then Victoria Gonser(Hoffman-Burr). Leonard worked and retired as a foundry worker at West Michigan Steel. He enjoyed watching sports at Whitehall High School and could always be seen in the stands. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and a Tigers fan. Leonard also spent many hours playing cards with Little Jessie and going to breakfast at Herbie's Cafe. Leonard is survived by his 4 children, Howard (Christine) Hoffman, David Hoffman, Don Gonser (Victoria) and Candy Gonser.His grandchildren, Madalyn Hoffman, Nash Hoffman, Gabby Bradley,Alex Hoffman, Cidney Hoffman,Alevia Harris,Natoya Ringler, Sharmaine Pider ,Codie (Jenna) Pider, Javon(Sara)Gonser, Jacobi Gosner,and Lexi Ringler.Leonard has also been blessed with 8 great grandchildren with one one the way. He is also survived by his siblings,Edward (Linda), David Joe (Sharron), Harrison, Bessie Jane(Jim) Lynn, Mary (Randy) Johnson and was predeceased by his parents Raph and Margaret Hoffman and brother Clavard Ray. He is also preceded in death by former wife Victoria Burr.

A celebration of life will be held on June 25 at noon at the South Pavillion at Twin Lake County Park, 6231 Main St, Twin Lake MI.
