Mrs. Cecelia I. (Gorski-Miszewski) Horan, age 90, died peacefully Monday, November 6, 2006. She was born on August 20, 1916 in Muskegon, MI to Karl and Julia Gorski. Cecelia married George Miszewski and later married Louis Horan in 1958 and he died in 1996. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, and had worked many years at Coles Bakery before retiring. Survivors include her 7 children, Patricia Gorajec, Linda (Roger "Red") Sloan and Louis Horan, Jr. all of Muskegon, Dan (Mary) Horan of Fountain, MI, Diane (Ken) Korson of Muskegon, Stephen (Dee) Horan and David (Sue) Horan all of Twin Lake, MI; 47 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Florence Patton of Muskegon; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 children, Irene Petersen in 1980, Patricia Kallas in 2000, and Edward Horan in 2004, 3 sisters and 1 brother. The Funeral Liturgy will begin at 11 AM Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation hours are on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Pachesny-Jend Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 PM. Visitation at the church Friday one hour prior to service.
