Hilmer Anderson

ANDERSON, JR., MR. HILMER A. Muskegon Mr. Hilmer A. Anderson, Jr., age 83, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2008. He was born on April 8, 1924 in Muskegon to Hilmer and Olga Anderson & married the former Mary Duthie on June 13, 1953. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in Europe & graduated from Ferris State College in May of 1950. He was employed as a Business Manager for the Muskegon Public Schools and later as Director of Business and Finance for Montcalm County Community College. He was a member of the Muskegon Elks Lodge #274, Muskegon Viking Lodge #157 & West Shore Jazz Society. Mr. Anderson was a volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood Services Department for many years. SURVIVORS Wife, Mary; 2 sons, Hilmer, III (Kristina) Anderson of CA & Eric Anderson of CA & a sister, Nancy Wampler of Grand Blanc, MI. VISITATION Saturday, 2-4 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home.
