Herbert "Bud" Whitman

Herbert was born April 28, 1925 to Harry & Clara Whitman. He was reunited in Heaven with them, his son, Alan and sister, Donna on August 3, 2011. Mr. Whitman was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic for 55 years with Erickson Trucking. Bud was a long time member of Grace Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS His wife of 36 years, Christine L. Whitman; daughters, Sue (Steve) Hildenbrandt, Darla (Bob) Tarr, Bonnie (Bill) Courson, and Peggy (Mike) Morningstar; sons, Jerry (Chris) Whitman, David (Christine) Zerbe, Brian (Janice) Zerbe, and Scott Zerbe; 22 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; cherished nieces, Judi (Henry) Schallaci, and Connie (Scott) Gueikama; mother-in-law, Christine K. Miller; in-laws, Henry (Naomi) Miller. SERVICE Sunday, August 7, 2011, 3:00 PM and visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Timothy Winkel officiating. Interment at Mona View Cemetery.
