Herb Kersman

Mr. Herb Kersman, age 94, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008. He was born in Bedford, OH on December 31, 1913 to Louis & Suzanna Herbkersman and married the former Elizabeth Hall in 1936. Following Elizabeth's passing he married Norma Sorenson in 1994. Mr. Kersman founded Lorin Industries in 1943, retiring in 1983. He was a devoted member of Community United Methodist Church. Foremost in his life was his family. Throughout his lifetime he had many successful interests and business pursuits. SURVIVORS Wife, Norma; sons, Robert "Buzz" (Wendy) Kersman of Muskegon, James "Jay" (Linda) Kersman of Muskegon; daughter, Kate (Richard) Wiley of Orinda CA; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 1st wife, Elizabeth & son, Michael. SERVICE Sunday, October 5, 2008, 3:00 PM at Community United Methodist Church with Dr. Robert Lynch officiating.
